Debt.com has unveiled the 2025 FinTalk Awards, a rebranded expansion of the former FinTok Awards, celebrating personal finance creators who are transforming how audiences engage with money education across platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and podcasts.
According to Don Silvestri, President of Debt.com, these creators serve as mentors and motivators, providing everyday people with knowledge to maximize their finances and build a more secure future. Silvestri emphasized that their impact merits recognition beyond traditional influencer status.
The awards feature five categories: Best YouTube Creator, Best MoneyTok Influencer (TikTok), Best Reel Money Creator (Instagram), Best Podcast or Audio Series, and Best Financial Hispanic Creator. Nominees include Chelsea Fagan of @thefinancialdiet, Stephen Findeisen of @coffeezilla, Nick True of @mappedoutmoney, Shelby Wright of @shelbwright, Humphrey Yang of @humphreytalks, and Jorge Fernandez of @fernfinance, among others.
Howard Dvorkin, CPA and Chairman of Debt.com, noted that the nominees cut through financial noise on social media by offering practical, honest advice rather than gimmicks or get-rich-quick schemes. Dvorkin stated that the awards matter because winners help people get their financial house in order.
Voting is open from September 22 to October 6, 2025, with winners announced in October. Fans can vote once per day for their favorite creators at www.debt.com/fintalk-awards. The initiative encourages community engagement via the hashtag #FinTalkAwards.
