AppSwarm, Corp. (OTC:SWRM) announced the release of Finx, a hidden camera detector and privacy protection app now available on the Apple App Store. The app aims to help users safeguard personal privacy by detecting potential hidden cameras, suspicious devices, and unauthorized surveillance equipment in various spaces, including hotels, Airbnbs, rentals, and offices.
Finx utilizes infrared (IR) analysis and electromagnetic signals to identify concealed recording devices. It also includes Bluetooth and Wi-Fi scanners that detect nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices and map all devices on local networks, flagging suspicious or unknown connections. A device tracker provides real-time signal strength monitoring to help locate lost Bluetooth items or potential trackers. The app is designed with a privacy-first approach, running all scans locally on-device with no data collection and no account required.
“Privacy is a fundamental right, and Finx gives people the tools to protect it wherever they go,” said Christopher Bailey, CEO at AppSwarm. “Whether checking a hotel room, Airbnb, or office, Finx provides peace of mind with advanced yet easy-to-use detection technology.” The app is available as a free download with optional in-app subscriptions for enhanced features. Users can download Finx from the Apple App Store.
AppSwarm also highlighted its broader app portfolio, which includes AskOptima, an AI-powered search engine; Zombie Survival: Rise of the Undead Shooter; BARAI AI Cocktail Maker; Travel Safe | Guide; Health Note | CALMI; AniPet; Smart Shop | Grocery; and Finx. The company continues to focus on accelerated development and publishing of mobile applications across gaming, business, and AI-driven solutions.
