Two ambitious developments—the Araromi Beach Project and the Shekina City Project—are setting a new standard for coastal development in Africa. Spearheaded by H.E. Amb. Rachael O. Ologodidan under the Ologo Didan Jezi Foundation Global Project, these projects promise to integrate luxury, culture, and sustainability into vibrant communities. Presented by the Shekina City of Help Ministry, the vision extends beyond real estate to create ecosystems where residents and visitors can thrive.
The Ararami Beach Project is designed as a world-class luxury destination featuring ocean-view chalets, boutique hotels, infinity pools, spas, and fine dining. Water sports, yacht cruises, and seaside recreation will cater to leisure seekers, while cultural landmarks such as an amphitheater, art gallery, mini museum, and culture café will showcase heritage. This blend of hospitality and culture positions the project as a platform for African identity and creativity.
Similarly, the Shekina City Project emphasizes education from nursery to university level, with vocational training embedded to prepare future generations. Healthcare facilities, including hospitals and wellness centers, will ensure comprehensive well-being, while social services like an orphanage, food banks, and worship centers foster inclusivity. The city also plans to stimulate economic growth through banks, microfinance institutions, shopping malls, and cooperative societies, alongside modern housing estates.
Infrastructure such as access roads, helipads, cable cars, police stations, and lifeguard towers will ensure safety and connectivity. Business spaces, including the OJF Global offices, anchor the vision with opportunities for entrepreneurship. Family-friendly attractions like waterparks, playgrounds, and sporting arenas will promote a balanced lifestyle for all ages.
Together, these projects aim to place culture at the heart of community life, with concerts, festivals, and exhibitions finding homes in purpose-built spaces. A film village and creative centers will serve as hubs for Nollywood and African storytelling, making the developments platforms for creativity and identity. The initiatives are transformative models for modern African coastal development, where luxury meets legacy, culture meets commerce, and community meets sustainability.
