Bulqit Launches World's First Home Service Group-Buying Platform

LOS ANGELES -- Bulqit has soft-launched the world's first home service bulking platform, starting in select neighborhoods in Los Angeles, California. Single-family homeowners can now join neighborhood clusters, called Bulqit Blocks, to radically cut costs on recurring outdoor services. By aggregating demand and organizing neighbors into Bulqit Blocks, the company is introducing a model expected to deliver approximately 30% in savings on most recurring home services compared to individual contracting.

The platform addresses persistent inefficiencies in the home services market, where companies like Fixer, Lawn Love, and Thumbtack have struggled. These platforms often focus on one-off tasks, insert markup layers, rely on freelancers, and force vendors to drive across entire metro areas. Bulqit's model eliminates these issues by creating neighborhood clusters, using a Single Allocation Method (SAM) to fairly distribute bulk pricing, and working exclusively with professional vendors.

Vendors benefit from exclusive rights to a Bulqit Block of up to 1,000 homes, skipping marketing, proposals, invoicing, and collections. This allows them to complete more jobs per day and earn higher profits even at reduced prices per home. Homeowners pay for all services through one platform with a single credit card and bill, and can communicate with vendors through a centralized dashboard. Bulqit acts as a fiduciary, holding vendors accountable and resolving issues.

The environmental impact is significant: with 2,000 customers in dense Blocks in Encino and Sherman Oaks, Bulqit projects eliminating up to 120,000 vehicle miles annually, saving about 8,000 gallons of fuel and preventing more than 70 metric tons of CO₂ emissions. Services currently include lawn care, pool cleaning, window washing, pest control, trash bin cleaning, and exterior cleaning, with plans to expand.

Los Angeles was chosen for its year-round demand for outdoor services. Starting in Encino, Sherman Oaks, Beverlywood, and Porter Ranch, Bulqit will expand city by city. Keegan J. Bonebrake, CEO and Co-Founder, noted, "Every other platform we studied added layers, raised prices, or relied on freelancers who lacked accountability. Bulqit flips this outdated model to benefit both homeowners and vendors."
