Cambridge Global Advisors Bolsters Foreign Affairs Team with Four Senior Advisors

Cambridge Global Advisors (CGA), a service-disabled veteran-owned small business specializing in homeland and national security, announced the addition of four Senior Advisors to its foreign affairs team. The new hires—Gentry Smith, Sepideh Keyvanshad, Scott Worden, and Brian Harding—bring extensive expertise in diplomacy, security, development, and regional strategy, further strengthening CGA’s capacity to assist clients navigating an increasingly complex global landscape.

Gentry Smith, former Assistant Secretary for Diplomatic Security at the U.S. Department of State and former Director of the Office of Foreign Missions, has extensive leadership experience safeguarding U.S. diplomatic operations worldwide, including key postings in Egypt, Myanmar, and Japan. Sepideh Keyvanshad, former USAID Acting Chief Human Capital Officer and Mission Director in Nepal, brings deep experience in international development and governance in complex environments. Scott Worden, former Director of the Afghanistan and Central Asia Program at the United States Institute of Peace, adds expertise in conflict resolution and rule of law. Brian Harding, former Country Director for Asia-Pacific Security Affairs at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, contributes knowledge of Asian regional dynamics and engagement strategies.

“These leaders add tremendous depth to our foreign affairs bench,” said Jake Braun, CGA CEO. “Their combined diplomatic, security, and development experience strengthens our ability to support clients across the globe.” The announcement follows CGA’s earlier expansion of Indo-Pacific expertise, when Frank Aum, Tamanna Salikuddin, and Andrew Scobell joined as Senior Advisors earlier this year.

With the new additions, CGA’s foreign affairs bench now represents nearly 200 years of combined experience. “With Gentry, Sepideh, Scott, and Brian, CGA now has one of the most comprehensive teams advising on foreign affairs and challenges, especially in the Indo-Pacific,” said Doug Lute, Chairman of CGA and former U.S. Ambassador to NATO. “Our growing bench reflects today’s complex global environment and equips clients to anticipate and respond effectively.”

The expansion underscores the growing demand for trusted advisors with international expertise, policy insight, and operational experience. As global affairs become more intricate, organizations require guidance from professionals who have navigated diplomatic, security, and development challenges firsthand. CGA’s enhanced bench positions the firm to address a wide range of client needs, from strategic planning to crisis management, particularly in regions like the Indo-Pacific where geopolitical tensions are high.
