Chaotic Neutral Studios has announced the appointment of production designer Riya Vaidya as art director for the upcoming music video "Bee Like Me," directed by Nelson Estevez and produced by Darsh Thakker, CEO of Chaotic Neutral Studios. The video, set for release on YouTube and Vimeo, explores themes of identity, imitation, and authenticity through the personification of the artist Mondaii as a "king bee" reclaiming individuality in a world of mimicry.
Vaidya's artistic approach is central to the project's visual language, using honey-based textures, reflective surfaces, and surreal props to evoke transformation and self-awareness. Her contributions include developing visual motifs around mirrors and honey, collaborating with the director on conceptual lookbooks and design sketches, assisting in location scouting, overseeing the art department during principal photography, managing reflective staging and practical effects, coordinating real-time design transitions during choreography, and maintaining visual continuity through the final cut.
Chaotic Neutral Studios, based in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, specializes in branded films, music videos, photography, and visual marketing campaigns. The studio fosters an environment where creative innovation meets rigorous execution, empowering artists and elevating brands. "Riya brings the kind of creative insight and discipline that embodies what Chaotic Neutral stands for," said Darsh Thakker. "Her design sensibility transforms conceptual ideas into tangible, emotionally resonant visuals. 'Bee Like Me' is a testament to that synergy."
The music video is currently in post-production, with a premiere slated for late October 2025. For more information about Chaotic Neutral Studios, visit their website at www.chaoticneutral.com.
