CHARBONE HYDROGEN CORPORATION (TSXV: CH; OTCQB: CHHYF; FSE: K47) announced the successful completion of dismantling hydrogen production assets acquired in Quebec City and the arrival of main components at its Sorel-Tracy site. This milestone brings the company closer to commissioning its first clean Ultra High Purity (UHP) hydrogen production unit, still scheduled for startup in November 2025.
Dave B. Gagnon, CEO of CHARBONE, stated, 'We are proud to have completed this crucial logistical milestone on time. The transfer of this strategic equipment to our Sorel-Tracy site brings us closer to the first production of clean UHP hydrogen in Quebec, while optimizing our investments through the reuse of proven assets.' The dismantling and transport were carried out by CHARBONE's technical teams and specialized partners, ensuring the integrity of the modules and systems. Reintegration and connection work at the Sorel-Tracy site will begin in the coming weeks.
This transaction stems from a strategic acquisition announced on September 5, 2025, through which CHARBONE secured hydrogen production and refueling assets. According to the company, this acquisition accelerates time to market, reduces capital costs, and provides already operational and proven equipment. CHARBONE's vision involves building a modular clean UHP hydrogen production network in North America, and this development makes that vision more tangible.
The company's approach focuses on distributed green hydrogen production plants, diversifying revenues through helium and specialty gas partnerships. For more information about CHARBONE, visit www.charbone.com.
