Compu Dynamics, a leading provider of data center infrastructure construction and operations services, announced today that its President and CEO, Steve Altizer, will participate in a panel discussion at the Data Center Investment Conference & Expo (DICE): Midwest, taking place September 25, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. The panel, titled "Data Center Cooling Innovations: Preparing for the AI Era," will address the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on cooling strategies for next-generation data centers.
The DICE: Midwest conference, organized by Bisnow, will cover emerging development trends in Chicago and the broader Midwest region, innovative cooling and power strategies for next-gen chips, facility efficiency techniques, and flexible construction approaches. Attendees will gain actionable insights while networking with industry leaders, including CEOs, investors, engineers, and developers. Altizer will join a distinguished group of panelists, including Mohammed Alrob, Senior Mechanical Engineer at Microsoft; Ryan Hansen, Technology Director for Hyperscale Strategic Accounts at Schneider; Ryan Murto, Manager of Data Centers at Kais-AIR; and Phill Lawson-Shanks, Chief Innovation Officer at Aligned Data Centers. Jim Marsh, Key Accounts Manager for Data Center Technologies at Munters, will moderate the session.
The panel will explore innovations in data center cooling fueled by AI, such as liquid-based solutions like immersion and direct-to-chip cooling. These technologies are becoming critical as AI workloads generate unprecedented heat densities. The session will also examine how emerging technologies like intelligent thermal control systems are enabling facilities to handle dense AI clusters more efficiently and reliably. As AI continues to drive demand for high-performance computing, the ability to effectively manage heat becomes a key competitive advantage for data center operators.
The discussion is scheduled for 9:10 am to 9:50 am CDT on September 25, 2025, at the Renaissance Chicago O’Hare Suites Hotel, 8500 W Bryn Mawr Ave, Chicago, IL 60631. For more information about Compu Dynamics, visit www.compu-dynamics.com. To learn more about DICE: Midwest, click here.
