My Life in LA is an ambitious short film (15–20 minutes) within the coming-of-age genre, scheduled to begin filming on September 21, 2027, with completion targeted for April 15, 2028. The film explores the world of Charlie, an 11-year-old boy in Los Angeles navigating neglect, childhood fears, and resilience amidst emotional and environmental instability. The narrative highlights universal themes of survival and belonging, positioning the project for broad appeal within the international festival circuit.
As Lead Producer, Yang Qian holds primary creative, managerial, and financial authority over the production. Her role is central not only to the development and execution of the film but also to its artistic identity and ultimate success.
