Cymatics Digital LLC proudly announces that acclaimed producer Yang Qian has officially joined as Lead Producer for My Life in LA, the company's highly anticipated short film project. This production marks the sixth installment in Cymatics Digital's distinguished slate of projects and underscores the company's commitment to collaborating with world-class talent in the film industry.

My Life in LA is an ambitious short film (15–20 minutes) within the coming-of-age genre, scheduled to begin filming on September 21, 2027, with completion targeted for April 15, 2028. The film explores the world of Charlie, an 11-year-old boy in Los Angeles navigating neglect, childhood fears, and resilience amidst emotional and environmental instability. The narrative highlights universal themes of survival and belonging, positioning the project for broad appeal within the international festival circuit.

As Lead Producer, Yang Qian holds primary creative, managerial, and financial authority over the production. Her role is central not only to the development and execution of the film but also to its artistic identity and ultimate success. Responsibilities include overseeing script development and ensuring compelling storytelling aligned with international standards; assembling and managing the film's celebrated roster of collaborators, including award-winning cinematographer Siwei Li (IMDb), production designer Yun Gu (IMDb), and ACE Eddie Award-winning editor Guanqing Lin (IMDb); supervising production management, ensuring compliance with child performer protections and rigorous safety protocols for earthquake simulation scenes; leading all financing, sponsorship, and grant negotiations to secure the production's structure and viability; directing post-production workflow, from editorial to sound and color, with a focus on elevating the narrative's emotional authenticity; and creating the festival submission and global distribution strategy to secure recognition for the film at distinguished international showcases. The production brings together a notable team of globally-recognized collaborators.
