In 2017, he founded Wasabi Ventures Stables, followed by Wasabi Ventures Stallions in 2019 with the purchase of Force the Pass. The subsequent sale of that stallion at a 5X ROI in 2020 enabled expansion of the stallion operation.
As President of the Maryland Million Board, Kuegler is tasked with steering the business and investment aspects of the breeding operation. He emphasized the importance of the Maryland Million in promoting and supporting Maryland's thoroughbred industry.
