Duotem has announced the official launch of its Kickstarter campaign for DUOTEM, which the company claims is the world's first portable device offering both instant cooling and heating in a single handheld unit. The device is designed to provide on-demand temperature relief for a variety of situations, from hot days to cold winters, and for medical needs such as hot flashes, stress, aches, and chills.
DUOTEM features four key attributes that set it apart. Its instant cooling mode can reach temperatures as low as 14°F (-10°C), so cold that ice droplets form on its surface. This mode is not only useful for cooling down on hot days but also for managing hot flashes and post-workout recovery. The heat mode offers three settings ranging from 100°F to 131°F (38°C-55°C), providing warmth during freezing weather and relief from stress and muscle aches.
The device boasts a lightweight and portable design, making it easy to carry in a bag. It is also condensation-free, preventing any moisture buildup inside the bag during transport. Additionally, DUOTEM uses an eco-friendly rechargeable battery, significantly reducing environmental impact compared to disposable cold and hot packs.
"You shouldn't have to fumble around with an ice pack to cool off a bruise," the Duotem team said in a statement. "A portable fan isn't going to do much good, either. Isn't it time for a high-tech approach to powerful, portable temperature relief?"
The Kickstarter campaign offers early backers exclusive discounts and rewards, with limited early bird pricing available for a short time.
