EvenKeel has officially launched an expanded line of fishing shirts and on-the-water apparel designed to address a frequent complaint in outdoor gear: clothes that fit actual human beings. The Idaho/Florida-based brand released a new collection targeting women, men, and children who spend time on the water, focusing on fit across a broader range of body types without sacrificing performance.
The collection includes UPF 50+ sun shirts engineered for breathability during extended sun exposure, with moisture-wicking fabrics built to handle a full day of fishing. EvenKeel founder Kelsie Baldwin stated that the designs were informed by feedback from hundreds of customers, especially women, who reported having to wear boxy men's cuts or pay a premium for gear that barely lasted. The brand made the Women Fishing category a focal point, restructuring fit patterns from scratch to account for differences in shoulder width, torso length, and overall silhouette.
The new fishing shirts maintain consistent UPF 50+ rating across all cuts, blocking more than 98% of UV radiation. EvenKeel also expanded into youth sizing, recognizing that Fishing with Kids requires sun protection without premium pricing. The youth line mirrors the adult collection in sun protection and breathability, with prices starting under $40 for children's UPF sun shirts.
Across the line, EvenKeel focused on UV protection, breathability in high-humidity conditions, and durability through repeated washing. The brand uses four-way stretch fabric in several core styles for full range of motion during casting and paddling. The full collection is available on the brand's website, with extended sizing up to 3XL in select styles. EvenKeel, LLC operates from Pensacola, Florida and McCall, Idaho, offering gear for anglers and outdoor enthusiasts.
