Interior Logic Group Reappoints Alan Davenport as CEO and Jeff Trapp as Chief Commercial Officer

Interior Logic Group (ILG), a leading provider of interior design and finish solutions for the building industry, announced today that Alan Davenport is returning to lead the company as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 6, 2025. Davenport, who previously spent more than a decade with ILG including eight years as CEO, succeeds Jon Weldon, who has served as Interim CEO since June. Weldon will transition to a senior operations role, reporting to Davenport.

Under Davenport's prior leadership, ILG grew from $300 million to $2 billion in revenue through an intense focus on service, technology, and homebuilder relationships. His return is expected to rekindle the foundational strengths that contributed to the company's early successes. Davenport said, "I am honored to rejoin ILG to lead this talented and passionate team as we strengthen our industry relationships and look to establish the Company as the go-to partner for interior design and finish solutions in the next era of personalized home improvement."

Alongside Davenport, Jeff Trapp, who previously spent 17 years at ILG, is returning as Chief Commercial Officer, effective immediately. Trapp's experience includes partnering with a diverse range of single-family, multifamily, commercial, and repair and remodel customers. He expressed excitement about returning to a company rooted in customer satisfaction, which he believes will set ILG apart in an increasingly competitive market.

Board Chair Dinesh Lathi welcomed the appointments, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome Alan and Jeff back to ILG and believe their return reflects a strong vote of confidence in the future of the Company." Lathi also thanked Jon Weldon for his leadership during the transition period and noted that the board looks forward to continuing to benefit from his experience.

ILG operates more than 200 locations across 37 states, providing design, products, fabrication, and installation services that enable the completion of nearly 100,000 homes per year. The company's focus on delivering quality-focused experiences to homebuilders and prospective homeowners remains central to its strategy. For more information, visit interiorlogicgroup.com.
