Kinetic Dance Force Advances to National 'Viral Video of the Year' Finals

Kinetic Dance Force (KDF), a Winter Springs dance studio, has advanced to the final round of the StarQuest Dance Competition's Viral Video of the Year contest. The studio is calling on Central Florida to vote for its dancers as they compete for the national title from Monday, June 22 through Sunday, June 28, 2026.

KDF earned its place in the finale after its routine won a weekly Viral Video of the Weekend title. The studio now faces off against weekly winners from across the country. The nominated routine, "Rosie the Riveter," celebrates strength, resilience and female empowerment. The choreography highlights confidence and determination in its young performers, who range in age from five to eight years old.

"This dance is about showing our dancers that they are strong, capable, and can accomplish anything they set their minds to," said KDF Owner and Artistic Director Kimmie Gehr, a Sanford native and former Radio City Rockette. "We're incredibly proud of the hard work they put into this performance, and we're hoping our community will help support them in this final round of voting."

The grand prize includes a StarQuest gift certificate for the studio to apply toward the upcoming 2027 dance season and a Dream Duffel Elite Backpack for every dancer in the routine.

Voting is open now. Community members can watch the performance and vote at https://www.kdanceforce.com/rosie.
