Lifordi Immunotherapeutics to Present New Preclinical Data on ADC LFD-200 Showing Selective Glucocorticoid Delivery Without Toxicity

Lifordi Immunotherapeutics, Inc. will present new preclinical data on its lead antibody drug conjugate (ADC) LFD-200 at the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Convergence 2025 meeting, scheduled for October 24-29, 2025 in Chicago, IL. The data demonstrate that LFD-200 selectively delivers a potent glucocorticoid payload to immune cells, achieving sustained anti-inflammatory effects without evidence of systemic toxicity.

The results, from multiple in vitro and in vivo studies in non-human primates (NHPs), show that LFD-200 provides targeted delivery of glucocorticoids to immune tissues, leading to inhibition of ex vivo-induced inflammatory cytokines. Importantly, no systemic toxicity was observed at clinically relevant doses, addressing a key limitation of conventional steroid therapies, which often cause significant side effects due to broad immunosuppression.

These findings are consistent with prior studies and highlight LFD-200's potential as a safer, less frequently dosed treatment option for patients with autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. The poster, titled "LFD-200, an Antibody Drug Conjugate that Selectively Delivers a Glucocorticoid Payload to Immune Cells, Provides Sustained Anti-inflammatory Effects Without Systemic Toxicity in Non-human Primates," will be presented on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Lifordi is leveraging its novel drug delivery platform, which targets myeloid and lymphoid cells via the highly internalized cell surface protein VISTA. The company has also applied this platform to other payloads, including small molecules, antisense oligonucleotides, and siRNA. LFD-200 is currently in a Phase 1 clinical trial, supported by funding from ARCH Venture Partners, 5AM Ventures, and Atlas Venture. More information is available at www.lifordi.com.
