NAVEE has launched the Birdie 3X electric golf push cart, marking the company's first foray into golf equipment by applying its expertise in smart mobility solutions. The cart, which debuted at the Salt Lake City Outdoor Trade Show in June 2025, aims to transform the traditional walking golf experience by integrating advanced features such as smart auto-follow, robust dual-motor drive, and app-based customization.
The Birdie 3X's standout feature is its smart auto-follow capability, which uses ultra-precise UWB technology combined with visual sensors to detect the golfer's speed and direction. Golfers can activate this function by pressing a button and clipping the remote control to their belt or pocket, allowing the cart to follow them hands-free throughout the entire round. This innovation enables a natural walking rhythm without the need to manually push or steer the cart, as noted by Polo, NAVEE's Americas Regional Director, who emphasized that the design aims to "elevate the walking golf experience while honoring its traditions."
Equipped with a high-efficiency 220Wh battery, the Birdie 3X can complete up to 36 holes on a single charge, ensuring it keeps up with all-day tournament play. The cart's dual independent rear motors, each with 240W peak power, along with front swivel wheels and rear all-terrain wheels, provide stable traction across varied terrain, including undulating greens and sand traps. This robust performance allows golfers to navigate the course with confidence regardless of ground conditions.
Addressing common storage issues, the Birdie 3X features a three-fold design that collapses to 24.41 × 16.93 × 14.17 inches with a single button push, occupying only 5.3 cubic feet of trunk space. This compact form factor leaves ample room for clubs and other equipment. Additionally, the cart includes thoughtful accessories such as a storage mesh pocket, cup holder, umbrella holder, USB charging port, and weatherproof coating.
The Birdie 3X also comes with a dedicated mobile app, developed by NAVEE, which allows golfers to control the cart from up to 150 meters away. Through the app, users can adjust speed, check battery level, track scores, and customize settings, adding a layer of personalization to every round. The cart's LED display, which features a Type-C charging port, provides real-time information on speed and battery status.
With a net weight of 36.3 lbs and a maximum load of 66 lbs, the Birdie 3X supports heavy golf bags across multiple seasons. NAVEE offers a 24-month warranty on core parts and lifetime service support. The company's entry into the golf market represents a step toward high-performance mobility in sports, as it aims to reduce physical strain and allow golfers to maintain focus for longer periods.
