Nova Minerals CEO Discusses Progress on Estelle Project and Antimony Production in Benzinga Interview

Nova Minerals Ltd. (NASDAQ: NVA) CEO Christopher Gerteisen recently appeared on Benzinga’s All Access to discuss the company's progress on the Estelle Project in Alaska, which spans 514 km² of mining claims and contains multiple gold and antimony prospects. Gerteisen outlined the company's near-term goal of bringing gold to market by next year, while also highlighting the strategic significance of antimony production for national security.

The Estelle Project comprises a 35 km long mineralized corridor with over 20 advanced gold and antimony prospects, including two defined multi-million ounce gold resources. Gerteisen noted that the company is working on a feasibility study and has defined almost 10 million ounces of gold. 'Our objective is to get something out to market sometime next year on the gold side,' he said. In addition to gold, the site contains copper, silver, and antimony, the latter of which is generating significant interest from the U.S. Department of Defense.

Antimony is a critical mineral used in cleantech, greentech, hightech, and munitions, yet it is not produced domestically. Russia and China are the primary global producers and have restricted exports to the U.S. 'We’ve been a real first mover in bringing that production back to the U.S.,' Gerteisen stated, noting that Nova Minerals is in advanced discussions for a non-dilutive grant from the Department of Defense to fast-track antimony production. The company has several drill-ready antimony prospects within the Estelle Project.
