Nova Minerals Gains Momentum With Senator Murkowski Visit to Estelle Project Amid U.S. Focus on Critical Minerals

Nova Minerals Limited (NASDAQ: NVA, ASX: NVA, FRA: QM3) reported further momentum after U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska visited the Estelle Gold and Critical Minerals Project, which has been independently identified as one of only two U.S. projects with near-term antimony production potential. The Senator’s support highlights Estelle’s role in bolstering U.S. mineral security at a time of growing federal emphasis on domestic critical minerals production.

Nova has already accumulated surface stibnite stockpiles with potential to produce antimony trisulfide for U.S. military supply chains, while also advancing significant gold resources. Antimony is a critical mineral used in flame retardants, lead-acid batteries, and military applications such as ammunition and infrared sensors. The United States currently relies heavily on imports for antimony, making domestic production a national security priority.

CEO Christopher Gerteisen said policy alignment and international collaboration are helping position Estelle as a strategic dual-commodity asset with implications for both national security and economic growth. The project, located 150 km northwest of Anchorage, Alaska, spans 514 km² of mining claims within the prolific Tintina Gold Belt, which hosts over 220 million ounces of documented gold endowment and significant antimony deposits.

The Estelle Project contains multiple mining complexes across a 35 km long mineralized corridor with over 20 advanced gold and antimony prospects, including two already defined multi-million ounce gold resources and several drill-ready antimony prospects with massive outcropping stibnite vein systems. Nova owns an 85% interest in the project.

Senator Murkowski has been a vocal advocate for domestic critical mineral production, and her visit signals potential policy support for projects like Estelle. The visit comes as the U.S. government increases funding and incentives for critical mineral development through initiatives such as the Defense Production Act and the Department of Energy’s loan programs.

The company’s progress also reflects broader industry trends. The Tintina Gold Belt is home to major gold mines, including Kinross Gold Corporation’s Fort Knox Gold Mine and Nova Gold and Paulson Advisors’ Donlin Creek Gold Project. Historical antimony production in the belt further underscores its potential.
