Outstanding Maternity Award Season 38 Draws Global Participation, Judges Announced

The Outstanding Maternity Award has announced the results of its 38th season, with submissions from photographers across 14 countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, England, France, Germany, India, Italy, Luxembourg, Russia, Spain, Ukraine, the USA, United Kingdom, and Cyprus. The award, established in 2014, is recognized as the most comprehensive and sought-after international honor in maternity photography.

According to the organization, each season provides photographers with a valuable opportunity for development and learning. Earning the Outstanding Maternity Award seal is considered a significant milestone, as international recognition increases professional visibility and adds a distinguished credential to portfolios and resumes, attributes that can attract new clients and opportunities.

The judging panel for Season 38 featured JaNa Photography (Canada) and Neidy Parra (USA). JaNa Photography is the artistic duo of Jafar and Nasim, based in Vancouver, Canada. Originally from Iran, they began their journey in 2009 and have exhibited in over 100 international shows across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Notably, they spent two years traveling the world by bicycle, organizing photo exhibitions and planting 100 trees as symbols of peace and environmental care. Neidy Parra, founder of Neidy Parra Photography and the Neidy Parra Collection, specializes in luxury maternity and lifestyle photography. With over 146,000 Instagram followers and nearly 1 million monthly views, she has built an international platform celebrating women and motherhood.

The award emphasizes that participation is a continuous journey of improvement. Photographers who are not awarded in a season are encouraged to submit again with a more refined eye, resulting from dedication and artistic intention. The organization expressed gratitude to all participants for strengthening the international community dedicated to maternity photography.

Looking ahead, the Outstanding Maternity Award is already preparing for Season 39, which is highly anticipated at the beginning of each year. Photographers interested in joining can find more information on the award's website.
