(Nasdaq: GSRT) announced a memorandum of understanding with Ameresco (NYSE: AMRC), a leading energy solutions provider, to establish a comprehensive framework for siting, development, construction, integration, operation, and decommissioning planning of the SOLO micro-modular reactor. The collaboration will leverage Ameresco's national network and expertise to identify siting opportunities on public and private land, with a goal to secure the deployment of 50 reactor units across federal and commercial sites, marking a major step toward near-term commercial rollout of the SOLO reactor.

Ameresco brings decades of experience in delivering advanced energy solutions across federal and commercial markets, and its support will be crucial in identifying and securing sites for SOLO reactor technology. This multi-tiered and diversified path to market enables parallel deployment as Terra Innovatum pursues U.S. government and private sector opportunities.

SOLO is a micro-modular reactor designed to deliver 1 MWe of power, scalable up to 1 GW or more with a minimal footprint. It uses commercially available off-the-shelf components to minimize supply chain risks and ensure cost predictability. SOLO supports both LEU+ and HALEU fuel, offering a platform ready to transition to future fuel supplies. The reactor is expected to be available globally within the next three years, addressing pressing global energy demands with a market-ready solution.

The reactor will provide CO2-free, behind-the-meter, and off-grid power solutions for data centers, mini-grids, remote towns, and large-scale industrial operations in hard-to-abate sectors like cement production, oil and gas, steel manufacturing, and mining. It also supplies heat for industrial applications, water treatment, desalination, and co-generation, and can produce radioisotopes for oncology research and cancer treatment.
