Verizon and David Beckham have announced the launch of the first-ever “Golden Ticket” sweepstakes for FIFA World Cup 26, offering customers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch a portion of the game from the pitch. As part of Verizon Ultimate Access to FIFA World Cup 26, the sweepstakes will grant hundreds of winners exclusive on-field access, bringing them closer to the action than ever before.
The sweepstakes entry period runs from November 6 to November 20, and customers can enter exclusively through the My Verizon app via Verizon Access, which provides customers with access to exclusive events and experiences. This initiative builds on Verizon’s role as the official telecommunication services sponsor for FIFA World Cup 26, underscoring the company’s commitment to delivering unparalleled access to the tournament.
Verizon’s Ultimate Access campaign, launched in September 2025, features an all-star roster including David Beckham, Tim Howard, Alyssa and Gisele Thompson, and Chucky Lozano. The sweepstakes is just the beginning; in 2026, Verizon will continue giving away thousands of free tickets, including hundreds of Golden Tickets for pitchside viewing, along with customer surprises, special events, and merch collaborations.
“This sweepstakes provides Verizon customers with a truly unprecedented and first-of-its kind opportunity,” said a Verizon spokesperson. Through Verizon Access, customers are eligible to score the ultimate prize for soccer fans: the thrill of experiencing the world’s biggest tournament, pitchside.
To enter, customers must use the My Verizon app. Those who are not yet Verizon customers can switch by visiting a store or Verizon’s website. For more information, visit Verizon.com/FIFA.
The partnership highlights Verizon’s strategy to leverage major sports events to offer unique customer experiences, reinforcing its position as a leader in customer engagement and loyalty programs.
