NWB Finland Oy has announced that its premium water brand, AINA Natural Water, is coming soon to Walmart.com. The move represents another step in the company's strategy to introduce AINA Natural Water to U.S. consumers through established e-commerce platforms. The announcement follows the company's plans to bring AINA to OneLavi.com as part of its initial U.S. market introduction.
"Walmart.com represents another important opportunity to introduce AINA Natural Water to American consumers," said Marita Weiman, Quality Assurance Manager at NWB Finland Oy. "Our goal is to make Northern Finland's naturally filtered water accessible through familiar shopping platforms while introducing consumers to the convenience and sustainability considerations behind our packaging."
The Walmart.com availability matters because it gives AINA a presence on one of the largest e-commerce platforms in the United States, potentially reaching millions of shoppers who already use the site for everyday purchases. For a relatively small Finnish brand, securing space on Walmart.com alongside its planned launch on OneLavi.com signals a broader push to build brand awareness and credibility in a highly competitive U.S. bottled water market.
AINA Natural Water originates in the Pudasjärvi region of Northern Finland, where groundwater is naturally filtered through layers of soil, sand and rock before undergoing mechanical filtration and packaging. The water contains approximately 32 mg/L of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and its naturally low mineral content contributes to a soft, neutral taste and clean finish without an aftertaste. Unlike premium water brands that rely primarily on individual plastic bottles, AINA is packaged in 5-liter and 10-liter bag-in-box formats designed for convenient everyday use while requiring substantially less plastic than comparable volumes packaged in individual plastic bottles.
NWB Finland Oy's planned expansion to Walmart.com follows its earlier announcement about OneLavi.com, a marketplace offering health, wellness and lifestyle products. Together, these planned e-commerce channels form an important part of the company's strategy to establish AINA in the U.S. market. The company also participated in the 2026 ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where it introduced AINA Natural Water and its bag-in-box format to U.S. retail buyers.
"We are taking a step-by-step approach to building AINA's presence in the United States," Weiman said. "Expanding our planned availability to Walmart.com is another way to reach consumers who appreciate quality drinking water, everyday convenience and packaging designed to reduce reliance on individual plastic bottles."
The announcement highlights how sustainability-focused packaging can serve as a differentiator in the premium water category. As U.S. consumers increasingly seek alternatives to single-use plastics, AINA's bag-in-box format may appeal to households, offices and hospitality venues looking for convenient hydration with a lower plastic footprint. Additional details about AINA Natural Water's availability on Walmart.com will be announced as the company's U.S. rollout progresses.
