The AssuredCode-C process restricts code generation to MISRA-compliant bare-metal C, removing support for non-essential languages to achieve maximum optimization, memory safety, and determinism on air-gapped embedded platforms. Engineers develop and store templates in a repository, which when populated become specifications submitted to AssuredCode-C. These templates are exhaustively tested and simulated to ensure safety.
AssuredCode-C achieves breakthrough performance benchmarks, with synthesis speed per code block under 0.5 milliseconds, enabling dynamic, real-time code generation at the sensor edge. Average energy consumption is approximately 2 Joules per passing module, about 1/100th of traditional LLM inference pipelines. To guarantee zero platform downtime and eliminate catastrophic flight-controller failures, AssuredCode-C pairs ultra-fast generation with a certified Blue-Green runtime pipeline. Live sensor frames enter a certified hardware router, splitting the signal across two isolated partitions: Blue (authoritative, driving actuators) and Green (shadow, running newly synthesized modules with outputs monitored but not actuated). Green outputs are routed through automated comparison engines and safety gates, with Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) verification for tactical missions. Upon passing checks, authority transfers atomically to Green with zero interruption, and the former Blue becomes the shadow for instant version failover.
