AZIO AI Inks First 10 MW Hosting Deal at Atlas One, Potential $450M Contract Value

AZIO AI Holdings (NASDAQ: AZIO) has announced a power purchase and hosting agreement with Power Champion Investment Limited at its Atlas One compute infrastructure campus in South Texas. The deal marks the first hosting contract at the 548-acre campus, which is designed for up to 500 megawatts (MW) of planned power capacity. The agreement initially covers 10 MW of contracted capacity, with expansion rights up to 50 MW, subject to infrastructure improvements and other conditions. AZIO AI will provide power, leased facility space, interconnectivity, and hosting services for artificial intelligence (AI) computing equipment.

At the initial 10 MW capacity, AZIO AI expects approximately $1.5 million in monthly capacity reservation charges, totaling $90 million over the five-year initial term, excluding electricity sales and additional services. If fully expanded to 50 MW, the contract could generate approximately $450 million in capacity reservation charges over the same period. This potential revenue underscores the economic scale of AI infrastructure and the value of securing power-backed compute capacity in strategic locations. For investors, the agreement provides a tangible revenue stream and demonstrates progress in monetizing the Atlas One campus.

The announcement matters because it highlights the critical role of power and hosting infrastructure in supporting the rapid growth of AI workloads. As AI models become more complex, demand for high-density compute capacity is surging, and access to reliable, scalable power is a key bottleneck. AZIO AI's behind-the-meter approach, which integrates power generation with compute operations, aims to address this challenge. The agreement with Power Champion Investment Limited is a vote of confidence in AZIO AI's ability to deliver the necessary infrastructure.

However, several conditions remain before service commencement, including infrastructure development, required U.S. export control approvals, and other contractual conditions. No capacity has yet been energized under the new agreement, and expansion beyond the initial 10 MW has not been exercised. To date, approximately 11 MW has been secured at the campus, including 6 MW currently activated. These milestones indicate that while progress is being made, execution risks persist.

The deal also positions AZIO AI, formerly Envirotech Vehicles, Inc., as a notable player in the AI data center space. The company's focus on developing, owning, and operating AI data centers, enterprise GPU compute infrastructure, and digital power solutions aligns with broader market trends.
