BTQ's MIMIQ Quantum Emulator Now Available via qBraid, Expanding Access to 35,000+ Developers

BTQ Technologies Corp. BTQ (NASDAQ: BTQ) (CBOE CA: BTQ), a quantum technology company, announced that its MIMIQ(TM) large-scale quantum emulator is now available through qBraid’s managed application programming interface (API). The integration gives qBraid’s community of more than 35,000 developers direct access to MIMIQ(TM), which combines optimized state-vector emulation with Matrix Product State techniques to simulate quantum circuits involving up to thousands of qubits and millions of gates.

For developers, the practical significance is that MIMIQ(TM) can be accessed through qBraid Runtime without setting up additional infrastructure. That removes a common barrier—configuring and maintaining emulation resources—and could shorten the path from algorithm design to validation. MIMIQ(TM) allows developers to test algorithms, study noise effects, test error correction protocols, and explore circuits beyond the capabilities of conventional state-vector simulators. The integration uses an open-source provider plugin built on QPerfect’s mimiqcircuits-python library.

BTQ CEO Olivier Roussy Newton said the collaboration expands access to large-scale quantum emulation and supports the development of software infrastructure needed to move quantum computing toward practical applications. The move matters because quantum software development has often been constrained by limited access to hardware and by the difficulty of simulating large circuits classically. By making a powerful emulator available through a widely used developer platform, BTQ is positioning MIMIQ(TM) as a tool for the broader quantum developer community, not just specialized researchers.

The companies will showcase the technology at Quantum Developer Day on Dec. 7, 2026, and Q2B26 x Chicago Quantum Summit on Dec. 8-10, 2026, in Chicago. Those events provide a venue to demonstrate the integration to potential users and partners. BTQ is focused on accelerating the transition from classical networks to the quantum internet, and the qBraid integration fits that strategy by building the software layer that developers will need as quantum computing matures. For investors, the announcement signals BTQ’s effort to broaden adoption of its emulation technology and to establish MIMIQ(TM) as a practical tool in the quantum developer ecosystem.
