Charbone's Preliminary Q3 2026 Revenue Rises 21% as Customer Base and Infrastructure Expand

Charbone Corporation, a vertically integrated industrial gases company, announced preliminary gas income for the three-month period ending September 30, 2026, is expected to increase 21% to $0.55 million from $0.46 million in the prior quarter. The company also reported significant growth in its corporate metrics, with active customers rising to 28 from 3 at the start of 2026, and regional supply hubs expanding to four from two.

The revenue growth is attributed to increased sales across multiple industrial gases in both U.S. and Canadian markets, including clean ultra-high purity (UHP) hydrogen produced at the company's Sorel-Tracy Phase 1A plant, as well as UHP helium and UHP oxygen sourced through partners. For the nine-month period ending September 30, 2026, gas income is expected to total $1.2 million, compared to nil for the same period in 2025, marking a substantial turnaround.

Operationally, Charbone has made progress on several fronts. The Sorel-Tracy Phase 1A plant is operating 24/7 with on-site quality control and a dedicated lab technician, maintaining moisture below 2 ppm. Phase 1B is on track for a Fall 2026 launch, with electrolyzer installation underway. The company has also brought cylinder filling in-house at Sorel-Tracy, which is expected to support margin improvement. These developments are part of Charbone's strategy to internalize key steps and enhance control over product quality and delivery timelines.

The expansion of Charbone's Industrial Gas Platform, including distribution equipment, is aimed at supporting growing demand and future sales growth. The company's multi-year supply agreements have doubled to four, and customer deliveries have increased to approximately 12 per month from about 2. The workforce has grown to 15 employees from 9, reflecting the scaling of operations.

Charbone's focus on UHP gases positions it to serve critical sectors such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence and data centers, advanced pharmaceuticals, and aerospace and defense technologies, where high-precision manufacturing requires reliable supplies of these gases. The company's modular, decentralized approach and integrated storage and distribution network are designed to address supply gaps for mid-tier industrial gas customers.
