Datavault AI to List RWA Token Programs on Perpetuals Exchange, Opening Commodity Trading to Broader Investors

Datavault AI Inc. (NASDAQ: DVLT) announced a partnership with Perpetuals.com Ltd. (NASDAQ: PDC) to list its real-world asset (RWA) token programs on the Perpetuals exchange platform, targeting trading on regulated venues. The agreement includes an initial focus on the MTB Copper project, with plans to expand to additional commodity programs such as gold, copper, geothermal energy infrastructure, U.S. strategic minerals, and European iron-nickel resources. This move aims to provide a regulated trading venue for tokenized physical commodity assets that have historically been accessible mainly to institutional investors.

According to the press release, three programs have a confirmed combined targeted issuance of over $328 million. The broader portfolio includes GoldVault, Coppercoin, MTB Copper, Triton Geothermal, and the American Strategic Minerals Digital Asset Program. Implementation is expected in phases, beginning with MTB Copper. The agreement leverages the Perpetuals exchange, which is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission through PM MTF Ltd., an EU-licensed Multilateral Trading Facility.

This partnership is significant because it bridges the gap between traditional commodity trading and blockchain-based tokenization. By listing on a regulated exchange, Datavault AI aims to offer liquidity and transparency to assets that were previously difficult for individual investors to access. The tokenization of real-world assets like copper and gold allows for fractional ownership, potentially lowering entry barriers and increasing market participation.

The collaboration aligns with the growing trend of tokenizing physical assets, which has gained traction as a way to modernize commodity markets. Datavault AI's technology suite, including its Acoustic Sciences and Data Science divisions, supports the valuation and monetization of these assets. The company's platform uses AI and machine learning for automation and analytics, as detailed on its website at www.dvlt.ai.
