DeepTarget's 2026 Digital Impact Awards Highlight Data-Driven Personalization in Banking

DeepTarget, Inc. has announced the winners of its 2026 Digital Impact Awards at the annual JH Connect Client Conference in Kansas City, recognizing community financial institutions that have transformed everyday digital banking into a measurable engine for relationship and deposit growth. The awards spotlight institutions using automated, data-driven personalization and intelligent targeting inside Jack Henry's Banno platform to deliver tangible business outcomes.

Dow Credit Union received top honors for its personalized Preferred Checking experience launched directly from Banno. The experience adapts content based on whether a member already has Preferred Checking, provides personalized monthly status and qualification information, and uses customized member data fields to create a seamless in-app path to a dedicated microsite. Mark Gandy, Chief Information Officer at Dow Credit Union, said, "True innovation isn't just about adopting new digital tools - it's about using data to make every member interaction count." He added that deploying the DeepTarget plug-in in Banno allowed the credit union to tailor content dynamically based on each member's specific relationship and qualification status, creating a frictionless, personalized path that drives engagement.

The other finalists honored at JH Connect include IncredibleBank, which designed mortgage and deposit campaigns to turn one relationship into a broader banking relationship; Georgia United Credit Union, which turned generic advertising into individualized messaging through personalized card and checking engagement; Ohio Valley Bank, which used targeted debit and early-relationship communications to strengthen relationships during the first 120 days and beyond; and Stone Bank, which matched deposit offers to different audiences based on profile, product opportunity and need through segmented campaigns.

Preetha Pulusani, CEO of DeepTarget, said, "Generic digital advertising is obsolete and today's growth leaders understand that every digital touchpoint is an opportunity for real connection with their accountholders." Pulusani noted that community institutions hold an inherent advantage in the trust they've built with their accountholders, but activating that trust digitally requires real precision. She added that Dow Credit Union and the 2026 finalists have demonstrated that embedding automated, intelligent personalization directly into Banno delivers both an exceptional user experience and meaningful financial return.

The awards underscore a broader shift in how community banks and credit unions approach digital marketing. Integrated as a plugin within Jack Henry's Banno platform, DeepTarget enables these institutions to move beyond one-size-fits-all marketing and turn daily digital interactions into primary drivers of deposit growth, product adoption, and long-term relationship value. DeepTarget reporting connects in-app engagement directly to bottom-line conversions and balance growth, empowering institutions to clearly measure where and how digital ROI is generated. As community institutions face mounting pressure from larger competitors, the ability to leverage data for personalized engagement may prove essential for survival and growth.
