FORT WORTH, TX — The DFW Car and Toy Museum, located at 2550 McMillan Parkway in Fort Worth, Texas, will host its second Car Swap Meet on Nov. 14-15, 2025. The event, organized by Fort Worth Car Storage, runs from 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 15. Admission is free, and visitors can explore booths offering a wide range of automotive memorabilia, collectibles, and classic and muscle car parts.
The swap meet caters to car aficionados, restorers, and collectors, providing an opportunity to buy, sell, or simply admire automotive treasures. Attendees can also enjoy local food trucks offering diverse food, snacks, and beverages. The event builds on the tradition of automotive swap meets, which gained popularity in the 1950s with pioneering events in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and Paramount, California. Over the years, these meets have expanded in size and quality, becoming essential for restorers seeking hard-to-find vintage parts.
"Whether you're looking to buy, sell, or simply admire, this event offers something for car lovers of all ages," said Ron Sturgeon, founder and owner of the DFW Car and Toy Museum. The museum, formerly known as DFW Elite Toy Museum, moved from Haltom City to its current 150,000-square-foot facility, which offers secure, climate-controlled car storage and rental space for corporate events.
