With over 42 years of clinical experience, Dr. Downs has developed innovative products under the brand Nefense, including HypoNasal and XyloClean, a nasal rinse system designed to support nasal hygiene, airway function, and respiratory wellness.
"The CDC has labeled poor sleep as an unrecognized epidemic," Dr. Downs said. "That's why I wrote the book Beautiful Faces: The Architects of Enhanced Attractiveness and Improved Human Breathing, which discusses how we're now treating sleep by widening airways in the mouth and the nose." His work focuses on dental sleep medicine, an emerging field examining how oral structures impact breathing and overall health.
