Enchilada's Restaurant, a landmark on Dallas's Greenville Avenue since 1979, has introduced a new marketing campaign titled "Mustache Tex-Mex Takeover." The initiative, unveiled October 17, 2025, uses a humorous hand-drawn black mustache to celebrate the restaurant's loyal patrons, from bikers and brunch families to office workers and children, all declaring the phrase "I'm Feeling Tex-Mexy." The campaign aims to highlight the restaurant's role as a friendly neighborhood Tex-Mex host while bridging its decades-old tradition with modern social storytelling.
The mustache motif appears across various platforms, including social media, in-store displays, table tents, and email marketing. Enchilada's owner Tony Waldrop explained the motivation behind the campaign: "We wanted to create something instantly recognizable that reflects the joy and personality our guests bring to Enchilada's every day. The mustache motif makes everyone part of the fun — it's a wink to the Tex-Mex flair that's part of who we are."
As part of the rollout, Enchilada's has launched a VIP Rewards Program under the slogan "Get a Mustache of Your Own!" New members receive $10 off their next visit, along with access to exclusive specials, birthday perks, and members-only events. The restaurant has set a goal of enrolling 5,000 VIP members within 12 months, aiming to strengthen connections with both regulars and first-time visitors. The campaign will extend across Dallas this fall, supported by local influencer collaborations, office catering promotions, and mustache-themed social media Reels featuring guests, staff, and fans.
Enchilada's has been serving authentic Tex-Mex comfort food and legendary margaritas since 1979, establishing itself as a true neighborhood gathering place known for hospitality and community commitment.
