Energy Fuels Inc. Reports Mid-Year Uranium Production Within Guidance, Advances Rare Earth and Mine Development

Energy Fuels Inc. (NYSE American: UUUU) (TSX: EFR), a leading U.S. producer of uranium, rare earth elements and other critical materials, provided a mid-year update on its U.S. uranium segment. The company reported that finished uranium production at its White Mesa Mill in Utah is expected to reach approximately 1.6 million pounds by June 30, achieving the midpoint of its full-year guidance range in just six months. This production milestone underscores the company's operational efficiency and strategic positioning in the domestic uranium market.

According to the announcement, Energy Fuels expects to complete its current uranium ore processing campaign by the end of June before resuming ore processing in the fourth quarter of 2026. During the interim period, the company will advance several key initiatives, including planned modifications to the rare earth element (REE) circuit at the White Mesa Mill, development of conventional uranium mines, and expansion of low-cost uranium production across its U.S. asset portfolio. These activities are aimed at enhancing the mill's versatility and long-term value as a multi-product critical minerals facility.

The White Mesa Mill is the only fully licensed and operating conventional uranium mill in the United States, giving Energy Fuels a unique competitive advantage in the domestic nuclear fuel supply chain. The mill also produces rare earth products and is evaluating the recovery of medical isotopes for emerging cancer therapies. This dual capability positions the company to benefit from growing demand for both clean energy and advanced medical treatments.

Energy Fuels is also advancing three heavy mineral sands and rare earth projects outside the U.S.: the Vara Mada Project in Madagascar, the Bahia Project in Brazil, and the Donald Project in Australia (through a joint venture with Astron Limited). These projects are expected to further diversify the company's critical materials portfolio and reduce reliance on foreign supply chains.

The mid-year update comes amid a favorable policy environment for domestic uranium production, with the U.S. government emphasizing energy security and the need to reduce dependence on imported nuclear fuel. Energy Fuels' progress aligns with national goals to strengthen the domestic nuclear fuel cycle and support the expansion of clean baseload power generation.
