Entertainment Expo Hong Kong 2026 will take place from 15 March to 19 April, showcasing the city's vibrant film and entertainment landscape through eight signature events. Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), the Film Development Fund, and the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, the Expo aims to connect innovators and industry leaders across the global film and entertainment industries. This year marks milestone editions for two key events: the 30th Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART) and the 50th Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF).
The Expo has invited renowned singer and actor Leon Lai as Hong Kong Entertainment Ambassador to promote Hong Kong as a leading hub for film and entertainment in Asia. The AI Hub will expand its scale, with leading AI companies like Alibaba Cloud, Kling AI, MiniMax, and Vidu, alongside local academic institutions. The newly launched AI Academy will host over 15 thematic workshops on leveraging AI tools for film production.
