Fitzroy Minerals Appoints Craig Parry as Technical Advisor Amid Chilean Copper Advancements

Fitzroy Minerals Inc. (TSXV: FTZ, OTCQB: FTZFF) announced the appointment of Mr. Craig Parry as Technical Advisor, bringing a wealth of experience in discovering and financing major mineral deposits to the company's Chilean copper portfolio. Parry, a geologist and mining executive with a track record of founding and leading successful resource companies, currently serves as Lead Director of Skeena Resources, Executive Chairman and CEO of Vizsla Copper, Chairman of Vizsla Silver, and Advisor to Abitibi Metals. His career includes key roles with IsoEnergy, NexGen Energy, EMR Capital, Tigers Realm Coal, and Rio Tinto, where he contributed to significant discoveries such as Vizsla's Panuco-Copala silver veins, IsoEnergy's Hurricane deposit, and NexGen's Arrow deposit.

Parry's appointment comes as Fitzroy advances its Buen Retiro copper project near Copiapó and the Caballos copper-molybdenum-gold-rhenium project in Valparaiso, Chile. In a statement, Parry expressed enthusiasm for joining Fitzroy, noting the rarity of a company possessing two projects with such substantial potential. He highlighted his initial investment in Fitzroy based on the Buen Retiro project, which he believes could be a major Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) discovery. Parry also emphasized the company's fast-track route to non-operated copper production at Buen Retiro, which could generate sufficient cash flow to self-fund future exploration. Regarding Caballos, Parry underscored the significance of copper-molybdenum-gold-rhenium mineralization discovered in one of the world's most prolific porphyry belts, stating that his long experience in the region gives him confidence in the target's potential to deliver a major new copper discovery as drilling continues.

Merlin Marr-Johnson, CEO of Fitzroy Minerals, welcomed Parry as Technical Advisor, noting that the company is expanding its team judiciously as the Buen Retiro and Caballos projects advance. Marr-Johnson highlighted Parry's fantastic track record of discovery, de-risking, and wealth creation, expressing confidence that his experience will help deliver value to all stakeholders. Parry holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology with first class Honours and the University Medal from The University of New South Wales.

Fitzroy Minerals is focused on exploring and developing mineral assets with substantial upside potential in the Americas. Its portfolio includes the Buen Retiro Copper Project, Caballos Copper and Polimet Gold-Copper-Silver projects in Chile, the Taquetren Gold Project in Argentina, and the Cariboo Project in Canada. The company's shares are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol FTZ and on the OTCQB under the symbol FTZFF. For more information, visit www.fitzroyminerals.com.
