Flores brings extensive expertise in resource capital markets, having served as a portfolio manager and chief investment officer at United Services Advisors, a managing director and senior mining analyst at HSBC, and a portfolio manager at Paulson & Co. Since 2018, he has been a mining sector consultant, including a six-year tenure as Director of Strategic Projects for Orion Resource Partners.
Flores holds a Bachelor's degree in Geological Sciences and a Master's degree in Energy and Mineral Resources from the University of Texas at Austin, and has been a CFA charter holder since 1992. His appointment is subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
