Fulbright Canada and Memores Partner to Advance AI-Driven Mental Health Solutions for Campuses

The Foundation for Educational Exchange between Canada and the United States of America, known as Fulbright Canada, has entered into a Research and Cooperation Agreement with Memores Software Inc., a developer of artificial intelligence solutions for emotionally aware behavioral targeting. The collaboration aims to address the mental health crisis on college and university campuses by developing new treatment protocols through advanced technology.

Under the agreement, the organizations will support ongoing research to improve mental health services for younger populations, which have been disproportionately affected by rising rates of anxiety, depression, and other conditions. Dr. Michael Hawes, CEO of Fulbright Canada, stated, "Fulbright Canada is pleased to join with Memores Software to support research and find solutions to the ongoing mental health crisis that is especially pronounced in younger age groups."

Memores, founded by digital innovation leader Richard Zwicky, has developed Sparks, a flagship platform that integrates predictive analytics and emotional sentiment analysis to deliver personalized therapeutic content. The platform uses proprietary algorithms and a content delivery network to tailor interventions based on users' mood and stress levels in real time. Zwicky, who holds over 20 patents in behavioral targeting and predictive analytics—methods used by Google, Microsoft, Meta, and Spotify—explained, "My previous work helped define the systems that enable organizations to deliver the right ads, music, and content to users. Now, we’re transforming this model by incorporating emotions into behavioral targeting."

Sparks is designed for therapists, behavioral scientists, universities, and research institutions, offering an open platform to deliver high-quality therapeutic programs, measure outcomes, and access valuable research data. The AI-powered system ensures users receive appropriate interventions when needed, enhancing accessibility and effectiveness of mental health support.

This strategic alliance combines academic rigor from Fulbright Canada with technological innovation from Memores. Both organizations are committed to transforming mental health care delivery, making it more personalized and accessible. For more information, visit Fulbright Canada or Memores.
