GeoVax Labs, Inc. (Nasdaq: GOVX) announced today that senior leadership will travel to Europe over the coming weeks to pursue partnering and collaboration opportunities for the company's portfolio of vaccines and immunotherapies. Chairman & Chief Executive Officer David A. Dodd and Vice President of Business Development John Sharkey, PhD, along with other team members, will attend the World Vaccine Congress Europe 2025 in Amsterdam (October 14-16) and BIO-Europe Fall 2025 in Vienna (November 3-5). In addition, the team will conduct meetings with global NGOs, including the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), Gavi, and the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC), as well as academic collaborators across Europe.

GeoVax will highlight several partnering opportunities from its pipeline. The GEO-MVA program aims to accelerate access to a second-source MVA vaccine for mpox and smallpox, with rapid, scalable manufacturing capabilities. The GEO-CM04S1 COVID-19 vaccine candidate is designed to elicit robust T-cell and antibody responses, addressing the unmet needs of over 400 million immunocompromised patients worldwide. Gedeptin®, a gene-directed enzyme prodrug therapy, offers a tumor-targeted immuno-oncology approach with potential synergies with checkpoint inhibitors for solid tumors. Broader MVA platform applications include hemorrhagic fever and Zika programs, as well as continuous cell-line manufacturing collaborations.
