Golden Cariboo Advances Toward Inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE:GCC) (OTC:GCCFF) (FSE:3TZ) announced that independent consultants are completing the company's inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property, located approximately 4 kilometers northeast of Hixon, British Columbia. The MRE will provide the first formal quantification of gold mineralization identified through the company's drilling, exploration, and geological modeling programs, incorporating historical exploration data. The company anticipates releasing the completed MRE upon receipt of the independent NI 43-101 technical report.

This development is significant because it marks a transition from exploration to formal resource definition for a property that has strong geological similarities to the Spanish Mountain gold deposit, a sediment-hosted vein (SHV) deposit located 120 kilometers to the southeast along the same trend. Spanish Mountain is classified as an epizonal orogenic gold deposit, a category that includes world-class deposits such as Muruntau in Uzbekistan and Bendigo in Australia. The MRE will provide stakeholders with the first comprehensive technical snapshot of the project, consolidating years of work into a single independent model.

Golden Cariboo's Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property is situated along a favorable corridor adjacent to the Spanish and Eureka thrust faults, spanning 94,899 hectares (234,501 acres). Historically, the region has recorded production from over 101 placer gold creeks along the 90-kilometer trend from the Cariboo Hudson mine to the Quesnelle property, with placer mining continuing today. The property includes the Quesnelle Quartz gold-silver deposit, discovered in 1865, which has been developed over a footprint of about 150 meters by 150 meters (less than 6 acres) at the Main zone straddling Hixon Creek.

Frank Callaghan, President and CEO of Golden Cariboo, stated: "This is an exciting time for Golden Cariboo, our shareholders and the region. Every drill hole, every assay result and every geological breakthrough has expanded our understanding of the Halo, North Hixon and Main zones. We are now approaching the point where all of that work will be consolidated into a single independent resource model, providing the first comprehensive technical snapshot of the project and our first step towards the next phase of development."

The MRE is expected to incorporate results from the company's drilling programs, which have targeted the Halo, North Hixon, and Main zones. The company has been actively exploring the property, which is bordered by Osisko Development Corp.'s Cariboo Gold Project, and benefits from road access from Hixon. The property's geological setting shows strong similarities with Spanish Mountain, which is considered an epizonal orogenic gold deposit, suggesting potential for large-scale mineralization.

The completion of the MRE is a crucial milestone for Golden Cariboo as it seeks to advance the project. For investors, the MRE will provide clarity on the project's gold endowment and could influence future valuation. The company's exploration efforts have been focused on expanding known zones and discovering new mineralization, with recent results highlighting high-grade intercepts.

Golden Cariboo is a mineral exploration company focused on rediscovering the Cariboo Gold Rush through targeted drilling and trenching on its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property. The company is committed to systematic exploration and development, with the MRE representing a foundational step toward potential future mining operations.
