Greenland Mines (NASDAQ: GRML) announced the successful completion of a three-day multidisciplinary planning workshop for its Skaergaard Precious and Critical Metals Project in southeast Greenland. The workshop, held June 22-24, brought together more than 15 international experts from GTK Mintec, the Geological Survey of Finland, SLR Consulting, WSP Denmark, and other technical specialists. The sessions focused on advancing understanding of the orebody and processing pathways, planning 2026 drilling, sampling, and environmental programs, and establishing a roadmap toward an Initial Assessment (IA) or Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) and future development.
The company stated that the workshop produced an integrated plan for the 2026 field campaign, a refined metallurgical testing strategy, a framework for incorporating geotechnical and environmental data into mine design and permitting, and a long-term development roadmap extending toward a potential exploitation license. This initiative builds on Greenland Mines' existing collaborations with GTK Mintec, WSP Denmark, and SLR Consulting, reflecting its strategy of engaging leading international technical experts to advance the Skaergaard project.
Greenland Mines is a Nasdaq-listed company with two operating divisions: Mining and Biotech. The Mining division focuses on the exploration and development of the Skaergaard Project in southeast Greenland and, subject to closing of a previously announced transaction, the Sarfartoq neodymium-praseodymium (Nd-Pr) rare earths project in southwest Greenland. The Biotech division includes Klotho’s KLTO‑202 primary indication for ALS. The company's strategy is centered on building a multi-asset platform with exposure to rare earth magnet materials, precious metals, and selected midstream processing opportunities, while advancing its broader North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor vision linking Greenland resources with allied downstream jurisdictions and industrial infrastructure.
