Greenland Mines and AnorTech Strategic Share Exchange Positions Both Companies in Critical Materials Value Chain

Greenland Mines Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRML) has closed a strategic share exchange with AnorTech Inc. (TSX-V: ANOR; OTCQB: ANORF), a deal that gives Greenland Mines its first foothold in midstream critical materials processing while giving AnorTech access to a NASDAQ-listed partner with growing capital markets presence and a portfolio of world-class Greenland assets.

The transaction, announced June 16 and formally closed by the end of the month, is structured as a share exchange rather than a cash acquisition. Greenland Mines issued 12,400,000 of its common shares to AnorTech, valued at approximately $3.5 million at closing. In return, Greenland received proprietary technology and expertise related to processing anorthosite, a rock type abundant in Greenland and on the moon, into high-value advanced materials such as alumina, silicon, and calcium carbonate.

The deal moves Greenland Mines closer to the midstream segment of the critical materials value chain, positioning the company to potentially supply processed materials to industries ranging from electronics to aerospace. For AnorTech, the partnership provides a pathway to scale its technology through Greenland Mines' existing asset base and market access.

Both companies have deep roots in Greenland's mineral landscape. Greenland Mines holds a portfolio of exploration properties in Greenland, while AnorTech has developed proprietary processes to extract value from anorthosite, a material that has historically been underutilized. The share exchange formalizes a relationship that could reshape how each company is valued by investors.

The critical materials sector has gained attention as governments and industries seek to secure supply chains for rare earths and other strategic minerals. Greenland, with its substantial mineral endowment, is seen as a key region for future supply. This transaction highlights the trend of junior mining companies moving beyond exploration into processing and value-added production.
