HeartBeam Inc. (NASDAQ: BEAT), a medical technology company specializing in advanced cardiac monitoring, announced it will attend the JP Morgan 2026 Annual Healthcare Conference, scheduled for Jan. 12–15, 2026, in San Francisco. Chief Executive Officer Robert Eno and Chief Financial Officer Timothy Cruickshank will be available from Jan. 12–14 for off-site meetings with investors and potential commercialization and co-development partners.
The discussions will center on the company's recently announced 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its patented, cable-free 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) synthesis software for arrhythmia assessment. This clearance, obtained in December 2025, builds on the December 2024 FDA clearance for HeartBeam's 3D ECG technology. The company plans a limited U.S. commercial launch in Q1 2026.
HeartBeam's platform technology is designed to collect ECG signals in 3D from three non-coplanar directions using a cable-free device, then synthesize those signals into a 12-lead ECG. This approach aims to provide actionable cardiac insights outside traditional clinical settings, enabling physicians to identify trends and acute conditions and direct patients to appropriate care. The device is intended for adult use in clinical or home environments for manual interpretation of non-life-threatening arrhythmias by a healthcare professional.
The synthesized 12-lead ECG output is cleared for assessment of normal sinus rhythm and specific non-life-threatening arrhythmias, including sinus arrhythmia, sinus tachycardia, sinus bradycardia, atrial premature complexes, atrial fibrillation, and ventricular premature complex. Importantly, the software is not intended for assessment of other conditions such as myocardial infarction, ischemia, or ventricular arrhythmias, and does not replace a standard 12-lead ECG.
HeartBeam holds over 20 issued patents related to its technology. The company's participation in the JP Morgan conference signals its readiness to engage with potential partners and investors as it moves toward commercialization. The event provides a platform to highlight the implications of its FDA clearance and the potential for its technology to redefine cardiac care outside medical facilities.
