HIFI, a financial infrastructure company specializing in stablecoin payments and tokenized assets, has raised $37 million in Series A funding led by Left Lane Capital. The investment, announced on September 24, 2026, will accelerate the buildout of HIFI's tokenized capital markets infrastructure and expand its product suite, including stablecoin payments and card issuance. The raise matters because it signals deepening institutional commitment to blockchain-based settlement at a time when major financial players are actively testing and adopting tokenized asset infrastructure.
HIFI's platform already moves over $7 billion in annualized volume, serving more than 10,000 businesses and 200,000 end users across 87 countries. The company's credibility is bolstered by its selection to participate in DTCC's July production trades using DTC-tokenized assets, alongside BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and Nasdaq. In September, HIFI announced a partnership with Visa to expand money movement and card capabilities, beginning with stablecoin-funded payouts to over 4 billion Visa cards worldwide. These developments position HIFI at the intersection of traditional finance and decentralized settlement, a space that regulators and institutions are increasingly prioritizing.
The funding round arrives as market forecasters project explosive growth for stablecoins. Citi estimates the stablecoin market could reach $1.9 trillion by 2030, up from roughly $300 billion today, underpinning as much as $100 trillion in annual onchain settlement volume. Public equities are expected to lead capital markets onto that infrastructure, with Citi projecting that approximately 3% of the U.S. equity market will be tokenized by the end of the decade. HIFI's approach seeks to unify what have historically been separate systems for payments, spending, and capital markets. "We think of settlement as one problem, not three," said Zach Walsh, CEO of HIFI. "Whether it's a stablecoin settling a payment, a tokenized receivable funding a card, or a tokenized security clearing a trade, the underlying event is identical: value moves and settles at the same instant, instead of moving now and settling days later."
Left Lane Capital, which led the round, expressed confidence in HIFI's role as a foundational layer for global financial infrastructure. "The growth HIFI has demonstrated reflects both the strength of the team and the speed at which stablecoins have become a core part of global financial infrastructure," said Matthew Miller, Managing Partner at Left Lane Capital. "HIFI is building an important layer in that market, giving developers the infrastructure to create products that can operate across networks and borders." The firm's portfolio includes Bilt Rewards, Lemfi, and M1 Finance, among others.
HIFI's traction extends beyond payments. Sumitomo, a Fortune Global 500 conglomerate, is rebuilding its cash management and trading operations on HIFI's rails; Dapper is building new digital marketplaces on the platform; and Arival Bank is powering stablecoin payment experiences for its customers. As digital asset rules arrive market by market, each jurisdiction adds its own banking partners, stablecoin issuers, payment networks, and compliance requirements. HIFI absorbs that coordination, allowing customers to build once and operate across every rail and jurisdiction it supports. For more details, see the original release on www.newmediawire.com.
The Series A funding will enable HIFI to scale its tokenized capital markets infrastructure and broaden its product offerings, including stablecoin payments and card products. With backing from Left Lane Capital and partnerships with Visa and DTCC participants, HIFI is positioning itself as a key enabler of the next generation of financial applications. As Wall Street moves onchain, HIFI's unified settlement layer could become essential infrastructure for institutions seeking to bridge traditional finance and digital assets.
