House of Collaboration 2027 to Convene Leaders in Davos Under 'Antifragile Alliances' Theme

J3D.AI Labs has announced that the 2027 edition of House of Collaboration will be held under the theme "Antifragile Alliances and Responsible Technology Development in a Multi-Polar World." The five-day programme is scheduled to run from Sunday 17 to Thursday 21 January 2027 at Hotel Cresta Sun in Davos, Switzerland, during the annual gathering of global leaders. The announcement signals a deliberate effort to address the deepening fragmentation of trade, technology and security along competing blocs.

The platform, which describes itself as a pansupra community, convenes government, business, capital and research leaders. The 2026 edition drew more than 850 delegates from over 70 countries, with more than 120 speakers and 25 partners, including ministers from the New Nordics (NB8) countries and leaders from UNESCO, Invest India, NVIDIA, Cerebras, SAP and S&P Global. HoC 2027 will again host a delegation from India and expand the New Nordics track. The significance lies in the scale and diversity of participation: in a world where dialogue between opposing blocs is increasingly rare, bringing together decision-makers from more than 70 countries at one table is itself a strategic act.

The concept of antifragility, coined by Nassim Nicholas Taleb, describes systems that gain from stress. HoC 2027 asks how leaders can build alliances that become stronger because of shocks, partnerships that learn from disruptions, spread risk across many actors and keep working when one part fails. The organising premise is that an antifragile alliance is not formed against others but across divides, and grows stronger under pressure. This framing matters because traditional alliances often fracture when tested; the announced programme explicitly seeks to design partnerships that adapt rather than break.

"Division is now the default setting of global affairs," said Yip Thy Diep Ta, Co-Founder and CEO of J3D.AI. "In a multi-polar world, collaboration is no longer a courtesy. It is a strategic asset. We do not ask our delegates to agree on everything. We ask them to sit at one table, name their tensions honestly. An antifragile alliance is not one without conflict or disagreement. It is one that gets wiser every time it is tested." The emphasis on honest tension-naming suggests a departure from conventional diplomatic forums that often avoid contentious issues.

The HoC 2027 programme is structured as five named summits: Cybernetic Foresight Roundtables on Sunday 17 January; Human Flourishing Summit on Monday 18 January; New Nordics Innovation Summit on Tuesday 19 January; Bridges to Europe Summit on Wednesday 20 January; and Capital & Wealth Summit on Thursday 21 January, closing with the Gathering of Decacorns, Unicorns and Soonicorns. Sessions will examine how frontier technologies such as AI, quantum computing, space and cyber security can be developed responsibly when no single power sets the rules. Topics include sovereign and resilient infrastructure, the energy demand of next-generation data centres, and how public and private actors can share standards without sharing every interest. Each session is built for decision density rather than audience size, ensuring that every conversation includes the people who can act on it.

A highlight of the week is the Gathering of Decacorns, Unicorns and Soonicorns, designed for founders of high-growth companies, from those on track to a USD 1 billion valuation to those valued above USD 1 billion and USD 10 billion, alongside the investors, capital allocators and policymakers who shape where growth capital goes next. "Responsible technology cannot be built by one country, one company or one bloc," said Kevin Varend, Co-Founder and Managing Director of J3D.AI. "The builders, the regulators and the capital have to be in the same room early, not after the damage is done. House of Collaboration gives them a neutral place to do that, and a community that keeps them connected for the rest of the year." The gathering's timing, at the moment when frontier technology decides who leads, underscores the stakes: early coordination among builders, regulators and funders could shape global technology governance for years.

Participation in HoC 2027 is by invitation and application, with a limited number of residencies combining full-week participation with accommodation. Value-aligned organisations can co-host sessions, breakfasts, dinners and receptions across the week. The 2027 edition builds on the inaugural HoC held in Davos in January 2024 and reflects J3D.AI's founding purpose to make peace more profitable than war through effective collaboration.
