IFPG Named No. 1 Franchise Broker Organization by Entrepreneur for 8th Consecutive Year

IFPG has been recognized as the top franchise broker organization in Entrepreneur magazine's 2026 Top Franchise Suppliers ranking, marking the eighth consecutive year the company has received this honor. The ranking, featured in the September/October issue and on Entrepreneur.com, is based on an annual survey of more than 1,000 franchise brands, which rate suppliers on quality, cost, and value. IFPG's continued dominance in the franchise broker category signals both its enduring influence and the growing importance of broker networks in the franchise ecosystem.

The recognition arrives during a year of significant expansion for IFPG. The organization acquired Franchise Business Review, an independent research firm specializing in franchisee satisfaction and performance benchmarking, and Business Alliance Inc., a longtime franchise brokerage and consulting network. These acquisitions position IFPG to offer more comprehensive data and services to its members, potentially reshaping how franchisors and franchisees evaluate opportunities. Additionally, IFPG launched Franchise Ignition, an organic lead-generation and marketing platform for franchisors, and developed Franchise Atlas, a technology platform that helps consultants manage candidates, search brands, and use AI-assisted matching tools.

Leadership changes have also marked the year. Chief Operating Officer Matt Otskey was promoted to CEO, while founder Don Daszkowski transitioned to Executive Chairman, Head of M&A and Corporate Development. Otskey emphasized that the company's focus remains on creating value for members. "We plan to continue staying at the forefront of franchising through data and AI innovation," he said. "Franchise Atlas is modernizing how franchise consultants and candidates work together, and our push into the agentic AI world is just beginning." This strategic emphasis on technology could set new standards for efficiency and matchmaking in the franchise industry.

IFPG's influence extends beyond its core brokerage services. The IFPG Retreat, its annual conference, was named a Top Franchise Event by Entrepreneur for the third year in a row. The three-day event draws hundreds of franchise consultants, franchisors, and suppliers, combining education, networking, and relationship-building. President Red Boswell noted, "Our community is at the heart of everything we do. As IFPG grows, we're creating even more ways for consultants, franchisors, and suppliers to connect, collaborate, and build meaningful relationships."

Entrepreneur's editor in chief, Jason Feifer, highlighted the significance of the ranking: "The strength of a franchise system often comes down to the partners standing behind it. That's why we survey more than 1,000 franchisors to find out which suppliers they trust most." For IFPG, the No. 1 ranking validates its strategy of combining acquisitions, technology, and community engagement.
