Impressive Play™, LLC has announced the release of its new AI soccer stats app, a patent-pending approach that allows soccer teams to collect over 100 soccer stats per game without writing, typing, or using video equipment. The app aims to solve a persistent challenge for coaches in continuous motion sports like soccer, where up to 11 players move simultaneously and traditional stat-taking methods often cause missed observations.

The development comes amid a reported decline in American youth sport participation. According to The Sports & Fitness Industry Association surveys, declining involvement is often linked to perceptions that coaching decisions, especially playing time, are opinion-based rather than data-driven. Without reliable data, factors such as reduced player confidence, damaged team morale, and toxic team culture can emerge. The new Impressive Play app aims to address these issues by enabling data-driven decisions and allowing coaches to share specific player data during one-on-one evaluations. This transparency helps identify areas for improvement and builds trust between players, parents, and coaches.
