LataMed AI Partners with DROGUERIAS LALA to Develop AI and Automation Tools for Pharmaceutical and Laboratory Workflows

LataMed AI Corp. (OTC: LMED), a healthcare technology company specializing in digital health and artificial intelligence solutions for Latin America, announced on August 3, 2026, that its Venezuelan subsidiary, LATAMEDAI VE, has entered into an agreement with DROGUERIAS LALA C.A. to develop artificial intelligence-supported and automated software tools for pharmaceutical and laboratory operations. This collaboration aims to design, develop, test, and evaluate customized technology to support workflows in pharmaceutical research, laboratory testing, quality control, documentation, operational coordination, and data analysis.

The proposed technology is expected to include software tools that organize and analyze information generated during pharmaceutical development and laboratory activities. Planned functionality may encompass workflow automation, testing coordination, document management, data review, quality-control support, and predictive analytics designed to help qualified personnel identify potential inconsistencies or operational issues at an earlier stage. The parties will begin by identifying specific workflows to be addressed, defining technical and operational requirements, and establishing a phased development and testing process. They also intend to set up confidentiality, information-security, data-management, and access-control procedures.

LataMed AI and DROGUERIAS LALA will evaluate whether the technology can assist qualified personnel in organizing and reviewing information related to pharmaceutical formulas, laboratory results, quality standards, testing procedures, and approval processes. Any such functionality would serve as a decision-support and workflow-management resource and would not independently approve pharmaceutical formulas, laboratory results, medical products, or regulatory submissions. All pharmaceutical, scientific, laboratory, and quality-control determinations would remain the responsibility of appropriately qualified professionals and regulatory authorities, ensuring the technology does not replace independent professional judgment.

Dr. Kevin Rodan Levy, CEO of LataMed AI, stated, "This agreement represents an opportunity to apply our artificial intelligence and automation capabilities within complex pharmaceutical and laboratory environments. Our objective is to work with DROGUERIAS LALA C.A. to develop responsible technology that supports data analysis, documentation, testing coordination, quality-control processes, and other operational requirements while preserving appropriate professional oversight."

Management believes this collaboration could expand LataMed AI's technology into enterprise pharmaceutical and laboratory applications beyond its patient-facing telemedicine services. The initiative aligns with the company's broader strategy of developing digital infrastructure and AI-supported tools for healthcare providers, pharmacies, laboratories, institutions, and other ecosystem participants. If successfully developed and implemented, the technology may provide a framework adaptable for other pharmaceutical, laboratory, and healthcare organizations in Venezuela and Latin America, though any future expansion would be subject to separate agreements, successful development, regulatory compliance, and organizational needs.

The parties will also determine ownership, licensing, permitted use, and protection of any software, technology, data, or intellectual property developed. The agreement establishes the framework for collaboration but does not guarantee a specific implementation schedule, commercial deployment, cost reductions, scientific or regulatory outcomes, revenue, or expansion to additional organizations. LataMed AI will provide updates on development, testing, and implementation as appropriate.
