LATINAFest 2026 Celebrates the ‘UNSTOPPABLE’ Power of Latina Culture and Economic Growth

The 9th annual LATINAFest, the nation's largest outdoor festival celebrating Latinas, will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Jesse Brewer Park in Exposition Park, Los Angeles. This year's theme, “UNSTOPPABLE,” underscores the remarkable growth and economic power of Latinas across the United States. According to festival organizers, the Latina population increased by 5.6 million from 2010 to 2022, the largest numeric rise among major female demographic groups. As of 2024, Latinas represent over 22.2 million women, comprising 17% of all adult women in the U.S. and are the fastest-growing major female ethnic group.

LATINAFest co-founder Bel Hernandez Castillo emphasized the significance of the event, stating, “Latinas are not a trend—we are the future of growth. Marketing to Latinas should not be considered a DEI initiative by corporations, it is a strategy that is good for business.” The festival is rooted in the belief that “Culture Is the New Currency.” The event comes one week before Los Angeles hosts FIFA, positioning LATINAFest as a powerful prelude to the city's international moment.

The festival will feature over 100 exhibitors and vendors showcasing Latina-owned businesses, which are fueling economic growth nationwide. According to Forbes, Latina founders are starting businesses at faster rates than any other demographic group in the U.S. The 2026 lineup includes keynote speaker Loriann Serna, celebrity event planner and founder of Wife of the Party, known for working with Hollywood's biggest names and top brands. An opening ceremony with choreographer Stephanie Stevens, recently featured in Bad Bunny's halftime show, will include youth soccer teams. An author's panel will feature award-winning novelist Reyna Grande, presenting her latest work “Migrant Heart,” and Julissa Arce, author of “My (Underground) American Dream.” A panel titled “Breaking the Silence” will address long-held secrets within the community.

Additional activities include live selling experiences powered by Viva Shop, morning Mayan yoga and wellness programming with sound baths and “limpia” rituals, art installations, musical performances, tequila and mezcal tastings in a cocktail garden, and salsa dance lessons. The festival anticipates exceeding its 2025 attendance of over 4,000 guests. Sponsors and partners include Angel City FC, Square, AARP, El Clasificado, and others committed to uplifting the Latina community.

Two lead-up events are planned: Taste of LATINAFest on May 16, 2026, in partnership with METRO, celebrating the opening of the D Line station at Wilshire Blvd. & Fairfax; and the LATINAFest 5K Fun Run on May 30, 2026, sponsored by Angel City, promoting wellness and community. Sponsorship opportunities remain available for brands seeking to connect with this influential consumer group.
