Liberty Puerto Rico Adds Edye, HITN's Award-Winning Preschool Platform, to Its TV Lineup

Liberty Puerto Rico has expanded its kids' entertainment offerings by adding Edye, HITN's award-winning preschool platform, to its television lineup. Starting this week, Liberty TV customers in Puerto Rico can purchase Edye for just $2.99 per month as an add-on to any television package. The service offers a safe, ad-free Spanish-language option featuring carefully curated content for children ages two to six. Subscribers can access Edye through Liberty's entertainment packages and the Liberty Go app, as well as through the Edye app available on the App Store and Google Play.

Edye's programming is designed to nurture curiosity, imagination, and the small moments of discovery that come with growing up, all through stories and characters that children love. Beyond the screen, Edye aims to spark conversations between parents and children, turning screen time into family bonding time. The platform features an extensive library of shows starring beloved characters like Daniel Tiger, Pocoyo, Paw Patrol, and Molang, along with games and parent guides to extend learning beyond screen time. With more than 2,500 episodes across over 70 preschool series, Edye reaches a growing subscriber base in the United States, Latin America, and Brazil.

This partnership is significant because it addresses a growing demand for quality, educational Spanish-language content for young children. For many Hispanic families in Puerto Rico, finding trusted, culturally relevant programming that supports early childhood development can be challenging. Edye, curated by experts in children's content, provides a solution that gives parents peace of mind while offering children engaging and developmentally appropriate shows. The collaboration also reinforces Liberty's position as the island's leading provider of broadband internet, video, telephone, and wireless services, catering to the evolving needs of its customers.

Eric Turpin, General Manager of HITN, emphasized the importance of reaching families in Puerto Rico. "Puerto Rico has always been a core part of our audience, and this partnership lets us reach families wherever they are," he said. "Edye was created to give parents peace of mind and offer children content that supports their development. Bringing this experience to Liberty customers means even more families on the Island can turn screen time into family connection time."

Quique Vivas, Chief Consumer Officer at Liberty, echoed this sentiment: "Adding Edye to our lineup is part of our commitment to bringing Puerto Rican families the best in entertainment and education, all in one place. Our customers are always looking for content they can trust for their little ones, and Edye is exactly that. We're very happy and proud to be able to offer this high-quality platform to our customers."

The availability of Edye on Liberty comes at a time when parents are increasingly mindful of the media their children consume. With the platform's focus on safe, ad-free content and its emphasis on family bonding, this offering is poised to become a valuable resource for families across Puerto Rico. As Liberty continues to enhance its entertainment options, this addition underscores its dedication to delivering trusted, high-quality services that meet the diverse needs of its customers.
