With the new medication reminder feature, users or caregivers can enter multiple medications and dosage information through the Care Village app. Notifications and instructions are sent directly to the device, where the wearer can confirm taking the medication or request a later reminder. If there is no response, the system logs the information and analyzes it through LogicMark’s patented Care Processing technology to identify patterns that could lead to falls or emergencies. The data also contributes to a baseline wellness profile via LogicMark’s patent-pending Care Village Digital Twin technology, which creates a virtual mirror of the user to predict future outcomes and enable proactive care.
For example, if a user fails to confirm taking medication after a reminder, the system records the omission, potentially identifying a health issue before a fall occurs. For an older adult requiring multiple daily medications, a caregiver can program each medicine with dosage and timing, and the Freedom Alert Max sends reminders and logs responses, providing oversight directly through the safety device.
