Bookings can start at just one hour, making it a cost-effective option for families seeking personalized support.
The platform connects families with independent caregivers who provide services such as companionship, meal preparation, errands, rides, light housekeeping, and respite care. LoLo Care sets a transparent hourly rate of $30, with $27 directly supporting caregivers, ensuring fair compensation. Families can review detailed caregiver profiles that include experience, ratings, and background-check status, allowing them to make informed decisions about who enters their home.

LoLo Care already has over 300 caregivers on the platform, and while it does not promise same-day service, most assistance can be arranged within a few hours. This launch is the first step in the company’s nationwide expansion, with services currently available exclusively in Wake County, including Raleigh and surrounding areas.
The launch addresses a structural supply gap in the home care industry. By 2030, all Baby Boomers will be 65 or older, significantly increasing the caregiving burden on family members. According to AARP and the National Alliance for Caregiving, 1 in 4 adults currently acts as a caregiver. At the same time, families have become geographically distant, making care coordination an isolating task. Traditional agency models rely on manual coordination, high overhead, and office rent, leading to waitlists, missed visits, and high margins.
